Arabic + English, together

Your meeting, in brief. اجتماعك، باختصار.

Record meetings in Arabic, English, or a mix of both, and turn the discussion into a transcript, a clear summary, the decisions and the action items.

  • Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet
  • Recording in your browser
  • File upload

Meeting brief

Illustrative example

  • Decision: Use a short meeting in the demo.
  • Action item: Review the summary before the presentation.

Why it is different

Careful where it counts

  • Arabic, English, or both

One meeting can move between Arabic and English. You choose the summary language separately: English, Arabic, or the meeting's own.

  • A notice in both languages

The bot posts a recording notice in the chat in English and Arabic, and anyone can type STOP or توقف to ask it to leave.

  • Checked against the transcript

Action items are checked against the transcript, and any the checks can't support are marked Unverified instead of being hidden.

  • In control of your data

Choose how long recordings are kept, export your data, and delete meetings or your whole account.

Two languages. One clear summary.

لغتان. خلاصة واضحة.

How it works

From conversation to clear notes, in four steps

Capture the meeting the way that suits it. Processing starts once the recording is in, and the meeting's page shows each step as it runs.

  1. Capture

    Keep the conversation

Send the bot to a Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Google Meet call, record in your browser, or upload a file.

  2. Transcribe

    Arabic, English, and both

The audio is cleaned up and turned into text, and your vocabulary helps with names and terms.

  3. Summarise

    Return to what matters

Speakers are labelled and named, then AI writes the summary, key points, decisions, action items, open threads and timestamped topics.

  4. Act and share

    Follow through

Search and ask questions, track your tasks, export to Word, PDF and more, or share a view-only link.

Three ways to capture a meeting

Online meetingsSend the bot

What it is
Paste a Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Google Meet link. A bot joins under the name you choose ("nabrief Recorder" by default), posts the recording notice, and records audio and video, the attendee list and the platform's captions, plus the chat and shared slides unless you switch them off.
Best for
Online meetings. Speaker names come from the platform's own record of who spoke when.
Good to know
It joins as a guest, so the host may need to let it in, and meetings closed to guests may turn it away. It joins only when you send it, records for up to 2 hours and does not follow breakout rooms.

In the roomRecord in your browser

What it is
Press record on a computer or phone, with pause and resume and noise suppression. The recording is saved on your device every 30 seconds as you go, so if an upload fails you can try again.
Best for
Meetings in a room, or calls you can't send the bot to.
Good to know
It records what the device's microphone hears, not the computer's own sound, and stops at 2 hours. There is no bot and no announcement, so tell everyone and get their consent.

Recordings you haveUpload a file

What it is
Drop in an MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, WebM or OGG file of up to 500 MB. Add attendee names to help name the speakers, and leave the language on Auto-detect for meetings that mix Arabic and English.
Best for
Recordings you already have, from a phone, a recorder or a meeting platform.
Good to know
Speakers are split by AI, which can get the split and the names wrong; you can rename them. There is no announcement, so you need everyone's consent.

The details, in numbers

  • 2 hours the longest a bot or browser recording runs
  • 500 MB the largest file you can upload
  • 30 min between recording reminders in a call
  • 30 days in Trash before a meeting is permanently deleted
  • 30 languages a summary can be translated into
  • 180 days of your meetings you can ask questions across

What you get

The whole meeting, organised on one page

Each meeting gets its own page with the transcript, the brief and the tools to act on it.

Brief

Decisions

  • Use a short meeting in the demo.

Action items

  • Review the summary before the presentation.

With the summary language set to Arabic:

  • استخدام اجتماع قصير في العرض التجريبي.
  • مراجعة الخلاصة قبل العرض.
  • Transcript with speakers

Click any line to play the audio from that moment. Rename a speaker once and the summary, action items, decisions and topics follow.

  • Summary and key points

An executive summary, key points, timestamped topics and a meeting category. Templates, such as a daily standup or a client call, tell the AI what to focus on in the summary.

  • Decisions and action items

Decisions with who decided and why, and action items with the owner, due date and priority, whenever the meeting said so.

  • Open threads

Loose ends the meeting left: unanswered questions, commitments with no owner, deferred decisions and dropped topics, with a suggested next step where one is clear.

  • Chat and slides

In bot meetings, the chat is saved with sender names, and slides shared on screen are read (English and Arabic text) and shown with thumbnails. Both feed the summary, and either can be switched off.

  • Attendance

Who was there, who spoke and for how long, and who did not speak.

  • Search

Search titles, transcripts, summaries, action items and comments, with filters for language, speaker, topic and date, and save the searches you repeat.

  • Ask questions

Ask questions across your own meetings from the last 180 days: the answer draws on the summaries that match best and links to those meetings.

  • Tasks

"My tasks" lists the action items assigned to you in meetings you can open, with their status.

  • Exports

PDF (from your browser's print dialog), Word with Arabic paragraphs right to left or in your own branded template, TXT, JSON, SRT subtitles, a report in HTML, Markdown or plain text, and the audio as .m4a.

  • Sharing

Share a view-only link that never includes the recording and stops working after 30 days, or share the meeting with a team at view, edit or admin level.

  • AI agents, on request

A recap of recent meetings, a brief before your next one, and agenda ideas from past meetings and open threads. They run only when you click.

Arabic and English

Made for meetings that move between Arabic and English

Arabic, English, or both in the same meeting: nabrief is built for all three.

  • Mixed meetings

Leave the language on Auto-detect, the default: a meeting that switches between Arabic and English, even mid-sentence, is transcribed in both languages together and labelled Bilingual.

  • Your summary language

Summaries are written in English (the default), in Arabic, or to match the meeting: Arabic meetings then get Arabic summaries, and mixed meetings get English ones. The choice is separate from the language spoken.

  • Translation on the page

Translate a summary into any of 30 languages on the meeting's page, or show the transcript beside a line-by-line English or Arabic translation.

  • Right to left, where it belongs

Each transcript line is shown in its own direction, so Arabic reads right to left beside English. Word exports set Arabic paragraphs right to left too.

  • Names spelled your way

Attendee names, words from the meeting title, your team's vocabulary and words read from slides are sent to the speech-to-text service as spelling hints.

Illustrative example

  1. خلّونا نستخدم اجتماعًا قصيرًا في العرض التجريبي.
  2. Agreed. We'll review the summary before the presentation.

One summary, in the language you choose

  • English
  • العربية
  • Match the meeting
Good to know

The app's screens are in English for now. nabrief publishes no accuracy figure for any dialect. 16 other languages can be chosen, but their quality is not measured.

Privacy, consent and control

Recording people is serious. Here is how nabrief handles it.

Online meetings get a notice in both languages and a way to stop the bot. In the app, you choose how long meetings are kept and who you share them with.

What people in the call see

When the bot starts recording, it posts the first message shown here in the meeting chat, word for word. It lists only what you have chosen to capture; this is the version with chat and slides on.

A shorter reminder follows about every 30 minutes, for people who join late. If the bot waited more than 5 minutes to be let in, it skips the first message, so the first notice is the next reminder, up to 30 minutes after it is let in. A message can also fail to post.

If someone types STOP

Anyone in the call can type one of these as a message on its own. The bot replies in both languages and leaves the call.

  • STOP
  • stop recording
  • توقف
  • أوقف التسجيل
  • ستوب
  • قف

The person who sent the bot is notified in the app, with the display name of whoever typed STOP when the platform provides one, and the meeting's page notes that STOP was typed.

Good to know: what was recorded before STOP is kept and processed. In some Microsoft Teams meetings the bot cannot read the chat, so STOP does nothing there. If the bot can't leave the call, recording may continue; it then says so in the chat.

Uploads and browser recordings have no bot and no announcement. Whoever records must tell people and get any consent the law requires.

Your controls

  • Invite-only sign-in

Access is by invitation, and you sign in with Google, so nabrief holds no passwords.

  • Private storage

Recordings are stored privately. Every play or download is checked first, then served through a link that works for 10 minutes at most.

  • Encrypted connections

Connections to nabrief use HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or 1.3).

  • Trash, then permanent deletion

Deleted meetings wait in Trash for 30 days, where you can restore them, and are then permanently deleted from nabrief's database and files.

  • Recordings on a timer

Auto-delete recordings after 1, 7, 30, 90 or 365 days, or delete one at any time. Transcripts and summaries stay.

  • The meeting bot's copy

Once a bot meeting is processed, choose when the service that runs the bot deletes its copy of the recording: right away, after 24 hours (the default) or after 3 days.

  • What the bot captures

Switch chat or slide capture off, and the notice then lists only what is on. Audio, video and transcript are always captured.

  • Export and leave

Export your data as JSON, and delete your account in Settings.

What nabrief does not do

  • No ads, no analytics or tracking tools, and no selling of your data.
  • No voiceprints. Speakers are named from the meeting platform, introductions and the names you give.
  • nabrief does not train AI models on your data. The outside services it uses for the meeting bot, speech-to-text and AI have their own terms, which the Privacy Policy explains.
  • This page sets no cookies, runs no scripts and loads nothing from other websites.

For meeting participants

Saw nabrief in your meeting?

Someone sent the bot to record this call. Here is what that means for you.

What it records
Audio and video (while a screen is shared, the video shows the screen, not the cameras), display names, join and leave times, the platform's captions and, unless they were switched off, the chat and shared slides. On Teams and Zoom, this can include chat typed before the notice was posted.
How you are told
By recording notices in the chat, in English and Arabic, repeated about every 30 minutes.
How to stop it
Type STOP or توقف as a message on its own and the bot leaves the call. The person who sent it sees your display name if the platform provides one, and what was recorded before that is kept. The meeting's host can also remove the bot, as with any participant: for example if it cannot read the chat, as in some Microsoft Teams meetings, or cannot leave.
Who sees the notes
The person who sent the bot, and the people they share the meeting with. The Privacy Policy explains who else handles meeting data.
Questions, or a request about your data
Email privacy@nabrief.com, even if you have no account.

Who it is for

For meetings where what was said matters later

These are the meetings nabrief is designed for.

  • Team meetings

Weekly syncs and standups: the decisions, who owns each action and what is still open. A daily standup template guides what the summary focuses on.

  • Project meetings

Follow action items across meetings in your task list, and ask what was decided weeks ago, with links to the meetings it came from.

  • Client and partner calls

Send the bot to Teams, Zoom or Meet with a notice in both languages, then share a view-only link that expires after 30 days.

  • Committees and boards

Decisions with who decided and why, whenever the meeting said so, and a Word export with Arabic paragraphs right to left, or in your own branded template.

Status

Where nabrief stands today

  • nabrief is an invite-only pilot: only people who are invited or approved can sign in.
  • It is still being built, so features may change while the pilot runs.
  • There is no payment or plan in the app.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly

How do I get access?

nabrief is invite-only, and you sign in with a Google account; there is no other way to sign in. Email hello@nabrief.com with the Google account you want to use, then sign in with that account once it is invited. There is no open sign-up.

Which languages does it support? Is the app in Arabic?

Arabic, English, and meetings that switch between them, which can be detected automatically. 16 other languages can be chosen, but nabrief is built for Arabic and English. The app's screens are in English for now; your transcripts and summaries can be in Arabic, shown right to left.

Which meeting platforms does the bot join?

Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet. You send it by pasting the meeting link; it does not join from your calendar on its own. It joins as a guest, so the host may need to let it in.

How long can a meeting be?

Bot recordings and browser recordings stop at 2 hours. An uploaded file can be up to 500 MB.

Do people in the call know they are being recorded?

When the bot starts recording, it posts a notice in the chat in English and Arabic, then a shorter reminder about every 30 minutes; if it waited more than 5 minutes to be let in, the first notice is the next reminder, up to 30 minutes after it is let in. A message can also fail to post. Uploads and browser recordings have no announcement, so you must tell people and get their consent.

What if someone doesn't want to be recorded?

Anyone can type STOP or توقف in the chat to ask the bot to leave, except in some Microsoft Teams meetings where it cannot read the chat. You are notified in the app, and what was recorded before that is kept.

Where is my data stored?

The Privacy Policy explains who handles your data, where it is kept and for how long.

Who can see my meetings?

You, and the people you share a meeting with: team members at the level you choose, and anyone with a view-only link, which never includes the recording and expires after 30 days. The Privacy Policy explains who else handles meeting data.

How do I delete my data?

Delete a meeting and it stays in Trash for 30 days, then is permanently deleted. In Settings you can also auto-delete recordings, export your data as JSON and delete your account. The Privacy Policy lists the copies that remain after deletion, such as backups, and how long each is kept.

How accurate is it, and how long does it take?

Accuracy depends on the recording, and processing time on its length; nabrief publishes no accuracy figure or typical time. Always check AI output before you rely on it.

Is there a phone app?

nabrief works in desktop and phone browsers; there is no app in the App Store or Google Play yet.

How much does it cost?

There is no payment or plan in the app. nabrief is an invite-only pilot.
